Do you sell files to anybody ?

No sorry, we only sell our files to people who have a machine linked to our system, if you want our files then you will either need to get a machine from us or you can even transfer your existing tuning tools to us.

Why don't you advertise selling files and tuning tools on the west yorkshire tuning site and facebook ?

We prefer to run our operations as two different departments, it is easier for us to manage and we can give our full attention to each department individually, each department is a full time job in itself, it makes more sense for us, and besides if we did offer the files and tuning tools on the west yorkshire tuning site then it would get over run with files and tools enquiries and that's not what we want, we don't want to sell masses of files, we like to keep our work manageable, so please contact trade remaps for our mobile services to the motor trade and for any files and machines that you would like, but if you are a public customer and want the very best service to have your car tuned on our state of the art 4WD dyno then please contact west yorkshire tuning instead.

Why would I want to get files and tuning tools from you, there are loads of tuning companies out there ?

That is very true, but most of them don't give you the proper support or the personal attention that you so rightly deserve, it is very important for us to have a personal relationship with anybody who is using our files to run their own business and we feel that you should be able to ring us if you need any help, we also have higher quality tuning files and solutions than a lot of tuning companies out there, hence the reason why we are the highest rated tuning company on google, we would highly encourage you to come and have a personal meeting with us at our workshop if you are interested in getting files or tuning machines from us, rather than just ordering a machine over the phone, this way you can get to see how we operate and the type of people you will be dealing with (Just friendly people who want to see you succeed) also if you do want to book an appointment to come and visit and ask more questions about joining our team then that's fine, there is no obligation to buy a machine there and then, you can go away and think about it and even arrange to call again to ask more question, we don't do any hard sell.

What sort of person would this work be suitable for ?

You would definitely need to be able to use a laptop and you would also need a decent diagnostic machine, it would also be preferable if you had a bit of a mechanical background, it would suit somebody who wants to go do mobile remaps or it would be a good addition for auto electricians or mobile locksmiths or mobile mechanics or even garage mechanics, what we are finding these days are people are going round their local mechanic garages and getting themselves a little round offering to do solutions for them on their customers cars to fix a multitude of problems that the garages can't fix such as dpf related problems, adblue problems, egr problems, hot start problems, troublesome dtc errors and many more problems.

I'm going to open my own tuning place and get a dyno, would you provide me files for this ?

Sorry but no, this is lot of work that you would be asking us to do and it would be too time consuming, there is a lot of logging that needs to be done on the dyno when tuning this way and to get the best results that you would be wanting would involve having to flash the ECU a few times with different files and relogging the vehicle again, this is something that we only do for ourselves in house, if you are wanting to get your own tuning place with a dyno then we wouldn't be able to help you, sorry.

I'm not happy with my current file provider, can I link my machines to your company ?

Yes of course you can, the machines that we accept are CMD Flash, Alientech Kess, AutoTuner.

If your file provider releases your machines then it's fine, sometimes file providers will charge you money to release your machines, this is a practice that we would never do, if for whatever reason you wanted to leave us and go somewhere else then as long as you didn't owe us any money for outstanding files then you are free to leave us with no charge.

I want to use your name when I go out remapping is this ok ?

Sorry I'm afraid not, you would need to use your own business name, the reason for this is very simple, and that's because we wouldn't be in control of how you would represent our company and our trading names, for this reason you would be working for yourself using your own trading names.

We don't know how you would deal with the customers that you get or the type of support that you would give to them, for this reason we can only have our own staff representing our trading names.

It's upto you yourself to build up your own brand name, which to be very honest should be pretty easy for you to do as we genuinely are one of the best Custom Remaps and solutions supplier in the UK, so the only way that your business could really fail is because of how you conduct yourself and your own business.
